Planned Giving through Lifespan's Circle of Life Society

Giving begins with one moment...and can continue through many lifespans.

Has Lifespan touched your life or the life of someone you know? Does it matter to you that our community has an organization dedicated to providing non-biased information, guidance and services for elders?

If yes, there is an easy way to support Lifespan through planned giving. Simply name Lifespan as one of the beneficiaries of your Will, life insurance policy or retirement plan. By doing so, you will join Lifespan’s Circle of Life Society.

Why make a gift to Lifespan?

The reality is that aging can be a challenge.

In our area, older adults and their families count on Lifespan. The Lifespan philosophy empowers older adults and their families to take on the challenges of longer life.

Lifespan provides the information, guidance and services that older adults and families need to work out the details of long-term care…to stop elder abuse…to cope with geriatric addiction…to resolve issues of care in nursing homes…to plan for the future care of a loved one with a disability.

Just as families count on Lifespan, Lifespan is counting on you to take on the challenge of assuring that Lifespan is always there to meet the needs of our growing population of aging parents, neighbors and friends. A planned gift to Lifespan will ensure that older adults and caregivers will always find the help they need.

Through planned giving you can make an appreciable change in the future of Lifespan and those we serve. And, you don’t have to sacrifice your family’s lifestyle today to make an impact tomorrow.

Our investment policy will ensure that your donation is secure. And, planned giving will build an endowment fund for the agency and reduce dependency on outside and unpredictable federal/state funding sources. Funds will be maintained in our separate endowment.

Types of Planned Giving

Bequest
You can make a bequest through your Will or Trust. Your assets remain in your control during your lifetime and your plans can be changed at anytime during your lifetime. Your bequest can be cash, securities or personal property.

Retirement Plan Gift
You can make Lifespan a full or fractional beneficiary of your retirement plan. You can change the beneficiary or amount of the gift at any time, offering your family great flexibility and control. You remain the owner of the policy, and your estate will receive a tax deduction for the gift.

Life Insurance Beneficiary
Naming Lifespan as the beneficiary or fractional beneficiary of your life insurance policy is another flexible gift idea.

And, there are other opportunities for planned givine that would provide a contribution to Lifespan and a fixed payment to you or a designated beneficiary.
