Good Grief! Grief, Ambiguous Loss, & All the Feelings

Grief and loss are universal experiences that everyone encounters at some point, yet we rarely discuss their full scope. While grief is often associated with the death of a loved one, it can also arise from various other types of loss. This session will explore the nature of grief, the ways we experience it, the concept of ambiguous loss, and adaptive techniques to navigate difficult emotions, particularly those related to non-death losses, while caring for someone with memory loss.
This session is designed for individuals who are caring for someone with memory loss but is open to anyone interested in learning more about these topics.

Presented by Cassidy Macdonald, Education Coordinator with the Finger Lakes Caregiver Institute at Lifespan

This workshop is being hosted online via Zoom.
