PDEV 779 Physical Fitness & Aging (Part of the Gerontology Certificate Program) Online via Zoom

Physical activity of older adults has been proven to improve both physical and mental health, increase social engagement, and decrease the risk of falls. This seminar will cover physical fitness assessment tools, identify physical fitness skills that are most important for older adults, and delve into current research regarding physical fitness and aging.  (3 contact hours)

This class is part of the Lifespan/St. John Fisher Gerontology Certificate program. Open to all.
