PDEV 761 The Dynamics of Family Caregiving (Part of the Gerontology Certificate Program) Online via Zoom

Join Marty Richards, MSW, LICSW, author of Caresharing: A Reciprocal Approcah to Caregiving and Care Receiving in the Complexities of Aging, Illness, or Disability, to explore the dynamics of giving and receiving care between family and friends. Families are complex with their own strengths and challenges, making each family caregiving circumstances unique. This class will explore the various elements impacting family caregiving, including navigating past and current patterns of interaction, accessing health and community resources, coming to terms with changes in family roles, and grieving the losses experienced by those giving and receiving care.(3 contact hours)
