Tai chi for Health - This program is adapted from the tai chi for Health series developed by Dr. Paul Lam. Combining different tai chi styles, this slow, gentle practice is designed to improve heart/lung function, immunity, strength, flexibility, and balance, while reducing stress and lifting your mood. All abilities welcome. Classes will be approx. 45 minutes and can be done seated/standing or a combination of both. Comfortable clothes, sneakers.

This wellness offering is sponsored by the Finger Lakes Caregiver Institute at Lifespan and funded in part by a grant from the New York State Department of Health. With a special invitation to caregivers and people living with memory loss, the series is open to all who seek to enhance their own physical/mental well-being.
