Join us in person for Powerful Tools for Caregivers every Wednesday from 4:30 - 6:30 PM beginning October 4th through November 8th.
Dates: Wednesday October 4, 11, 18, and 25, November 1, and 8
This 6-week educational program focuses on the needs of family caregivers of individuals with chronic conditions. Family caregivers develop a variety of self-care tools to:
- Reduce personal stress
- Change negative self-talk
- Communicate their needs to family members and healthcare providers
- Communicate more effectively in challenging situations
- Deal with difficult feelings
- Make tough caregiving decisions
Class participants also receive a copy of The Caregiver Helpbook, developed specifically for the class. This is a free class for family caregivers of someone with a chronic illness and/or dementia.
