Join us online from your own home, for Powerful Tools for Caregivers every Tuesday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM beginning October 17th through November 21st.
Dates: Tuesday October 17, 24, and 31, November 7, 14, and 21
This 6-week educational program focuses on the needs of family caregivers of individuals with chronic conditions. Family caregivers develop a variety of self-care tools to:
- Reduce personal stress
- Change negative self-talk
- Communicate their needs to family members and healthcare providers
- Communicate more effectively in challenging situations
- Deal with difficult feelings
- Make tough caregiving decisions
Class participants also receive a copy of The Caregiver Helpbook, developed specifically for the class. This is a free class for family caregivers of someone with a chronic illness and/or dementia.
