Addresses physical, emotional, and social impacts of living with or caring for someone with Type 2 Diabetes, and healthy strategies for living comfortably and remaining active. Incorporates a “toolbox” which includes healthy eating, reading labels, exercising, managing stress, sleep, communication strategies, problem-solving, action planning, and managing difficult emotions. We will also cover monitoring blood glucose, foot care, avoiding complications, and menu planning. Registration required.
